Evaluating Impact

Applications to be included in the OrganizingTogether Community will be reviewed by a technical expert. Organizations are evaluated based on the information given in the application, the organization’s website, and other public information. In some cases, OrganizingTogether will call on community leaders to determine the significance of an organizations impact.

Poverty reductions organizations comprise of economic and social welfare programs that target startups and low-income communities.

Signal Social Equity

To keep our community safe and encourage a social equity eco-system, organizations can select to signal their social equity stances to the public. Organizations cannot be assigned a social equity icon unless there’s substantial evidence of action on behalf of under-represented group within their organization. This includes ongoing monetary contributions, public displays of support, adoption of equity procedures,  or is the organizations  main objective.

This icon signals to the surrounding community that your organization supports Black Lives Matter.

LGBTQ+

This icon signals to the surrounding community that your organization supports and hires LGBTQ+.

Capabable

This icon signals to the surrounding community that your organization supports and hires those with impairments.

Hires Ex-Felons
